What we handle

Everything off the truck except the driving

One flat service that replaces the hours you spend on load boards, playing phone tag with brokers, and chasing paperwork.

Load booking

We work the load boards and our broker network daily to keep your truck loaded and moving in the lanes you actually want to run.

Rate negotiation

We know what your lane pays. We push for top dollar on every load instead of taking the first number a broker offers.

Paperwork & carrier packets

Rate confirmations, BOLs, carrier packets, broker setups — filled out, filed, and sent so you're never held up at the dock.

Broker credit checks

We vet every broker before you haul. If they don't have a record of paying on time, you don't take the load.

Factoring & invoicing

Your invoice goes out the day you deliver, with the paperwork clean the first time. Factoring instead of waiting on 30-day broker terms? We'll help you find a company and get set up.

Route & trip planning

Backhauls planned before you deliver. Fewer deadhead miles, better home time, and a higher weekly net.

How it works

Rolling in 48 hours

No long onboarding. Send us your paperwork today and we'll be booking your next load tomorrow.

01

Quick call

Fifteen minutes. We learn your equipment, your lanes, your rate floor, and when you want to be home.

02

Send documents

MC authority, W-9, certificate of insurance, and a signed dispatch agreement. We handle broker setups from there.

03

We book

You approve every load before we commit. Nothing gets booked without your green light — ever.

04

You get paid

We invoice the broker the day you deliver and follow up until the money actually lands.

Why EL & CO

Built by people who know the road

  • No forced dispatch

You see the rate, the miles, and the broker before you say yes. It's always your call.

  • One dispatcher, not a call center

You get a name and a direct cell number — the same person every day, not a rotating queue.

  • Transparent percentage

We only make money when you do. No hidden fees, nothing charged on deadhead, no minimums.

  • Weekends and after hours

Breakdown on a Saturday night? Detention on a Sunday delivery? Somebody picks up the phone.

Our promise to you

Five things we put in writing for every driver who runs with us. No asterisks, no fine print.

  • You approve every load before it's booked
  • You keep 100% of fuel surcharge and detention
  • Nothing charged on freight you book yourself
  • One agreement, no term — cancel any week
  • You get a direct cell, not a ticket number
Our fee

We only get paid when you do

A straight percentage of the linehaul on loads we book for you. Nothing up front, nothing on a week you don't run, and nothing on freight you find yourself.

Only on loads we book

Our fee comes out of the loads we actually find for you — nothing else. Book your own freight through a broker you already know and you owe us zero on it.

Linehaul only

We never take a cut of your fuel surcharge, detention, layover, or lumper reimbursements. Those are yours in full, every time.

Billed after delivery

Invoiced weekly, after your loads deliver — never up front. Sit a week for home time or repairs and you owe us nothing for it.

What will it cost me?

Our rate depends on your equipment, your lanes, and how many trucks you're running — so we quote it on the first call instead of guessing at it here. It takes about fifteen minutes and there's no obligation.

Equipment we dispatch

Your truck, your lanes, your rules

We dispatch dry van, reefer, flatbed and step deck, power only, hotshot, and box truck. Regional, dedicated, or over the road — you set the box you want to run in and we book inside it.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I need my own MC authority?

Yes — we dispatch for carriers running under their own authority. If you don't have it yet, we can walk you through getting your MC and DOT numbers, insurance, and BOC-3 filing before you start.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. You sign one dispatch agreement when you start and that's the only paperwork — there's no minimum term and nothing to re-sign. It stays in place until you tell us you're done. Give us notice any week and that's it: no cancellation fee, no penalty, and we'll still invoice out anything you've already delivered.

What if I book some of my own loads?

That's fine — we only charge on the loads we book for you. If you've got a shipper or a broker you already run with direct, keep it. You won't owe us anything on that freight, and we'll work around it when we plan your week.

Can I turn down a load?

Every time. We send you the rate, the miles, the pickup and delivery windows, and the broker's name. Nothing gets booked until you say yes.

When and how do I pay you?

Weekly, after your loads deliver — never up front. We charge a percentage of gross linehaul only, so nothing comes out of your fuel surcharge, detention, layover, or lumper reimbursements. If you don't run that week, you don't owe us anything.

What's your rate?

It depends on your equipment, the lanes you run, and how many trucks you're putting with us, so we quote it on our first call. There's no setup fee and no cancellation fee either way.

Do you handle factoring?

We don't factor in house, but we'll help you find a company and get set up if you want to go that route. Most factors advance somewhere around 90% of the invoice within a day of getting clean paperwork, and they charge a fee for it — usually somewhere in the 1.5% to 5% range depending on your volume and how solid the broker is. Whether that trade is worth it depends on your cash flow, and we'll give you a straight opinion rather than pushing you toward whoever pays us a referral. Either way, we get your invoice out the day you deliver.

What if I only run certain lanes?

Tell us your lanes, your rate floor, and your home time, and we book inside those rules. Plenty of our drivers run regional only and never leave a three-state box.
